“Vision for the Future”: Foster Care Reimagined – presentation by Think of Us. About a year ago, Think of Us embarked on a project where a team of their staff collaborated with staff, leaders, and lived experts in foster care in Washington to co-design a “Vision for the Future” for the office of Adolescent Programs in partnership with the Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF). This is a presentation to share the outcome and solicit more feedback before making their report public.

During the presentation, a team of Lived Experience Advisors and Think of Us partners will share about the impact their vision for the future could have. Some of the lived experts that created this vision will share nuggets of intimate knowledge about how they experienced the foster care system in order to illustrate what it will take to make the vision a reality.
